[WOTMOD VERSION]
To install extract the included .wotmod file into your WoT Game files and place it in the [PATCH FOLDER] in "mods". For example: C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\mods\2.2.1.2\[WOTMOD GOES HERE]

[RES_MODS VERSION]
To install extract the "spaces" and "system" folder into your WoT Game files and place it in the [PATCH FOLDER] in "res_mods". For example: C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\res_mods\2.2.1.2\[FOLDERS GOES HERE]

If you are already using "Night Sky" from Aslain's Modpack, make sure to either delete the "spaces" folder in res_mods before installing the wotmod version (as files in res_mods are loaded over wotmods and will invalidate the changes made), or in the case of installing the res_mods version make sure to allow it to replace all of the existing files.

Night Sky is originally a mod made by Aslain, as such I really don't want to take much credit for this edit.

With Version 1.3 I've overhauled the mod completely. It now uses a different CCMap, darker fog, slightly modified sunlight/ambient colour (though lighting settings themselves are actually slightly brighter) and reduced moon size. Separately, the skybox has been made to use a consistent, low speed and frequency value across all maps. This does have a flaw that you can very obviously see when it loops, but it's still better than the default settings used before.
Additionally, every map now makes use of edited probes folders to achieve a more consistent appearance across pretty much every map (some maps, particular winter/desert maps, tend to appear brighter usually as a result of wherever the sun is positioned). All of this achieves a darker, night-like appearance, though this will make it much harder to play and may push some users of the mod away (an optional mod has been included to try to assist with this if need be). I apologise for any inconvenience this causes or if you are not a fan of the changes.

As two final notes:
-some maps unfortunately feature things I cannot edit that end up being jarringly bright compared to the map. This includes but is not limited to Prokhorovka smoke, Highway tornadoes, Ghost Town dust storm, Oyster Bay sea spots and some water on Outpost. I do not know of a way to fix these with my knowledge, sorry
-due to the darker lighting, my Actual Light mods ( https://wgmods.net/7050/ ) stands out noticeably more than vanilla lighting (or some of my own edits with Revamped Skies) and may prove helpful with visibility to an extent. As of updating this there is an issue with some lights (that I don't currently know how to fix) and the settings do desaturate the lights a bit compared to their intended appearance, but I do think it's worth trying out alongside Night Sky Edit
